A Daoist Method for Structural Change

Most people do not lack methods. They lack a foundation that can hold in real life.

The Long Breath Method is not designed to create a temporary state. It is designed to rebuild the deeper structure beneath breathing, vitality, inner perception, and self-regulation.

This is not a course for chasing experiences, but a training path for something more stable, practical, and lasting.

FAQ

The Long Breath Method is a Daoist breath training system. It is not simply a breathing technique, and not a short-term calming tool. It is designed to train the deeper structure beneath breathing, vitality, internal perception, and self-regulation.

No. Some people may feel calmer through practice, but relaxation is not the primary target. The course is built on a structural training model rather than a state-chasing model.

That is not the intention. The course is designed to help you gradually sense yourself more clearly, assess your own condition, and regulate more independently over time.

This course does not promise outcomes. Its purpose is to offer a trainable path and help you judge clearly whether that path is right for you. The emphasis is on long-term practice, self-observation, and structural change.

No. The foundational level is designed as an accessible starting point. At the same time, the method remains meaningful for people who already have experience with qigong, meditation, yoga, or other internal practices.

It can serve as a serious entry point into Daoist cultivation, but it is not meant to replace all other practices or require sectarian commitment. It is foundation-oriented and may also support daily life, physical condition, and energetic stability more broadly.

The Foundational Practice focuses on rebuilding the core structure of breath, body linkage, internal perception, and self-assessment.
The Complete System builds on this by introducing the five organs, five qi, five shen, and the Six Character Formulas for more refined regulation.

The course is delivered as a recorded online program, allowing you to study and practice at your own pace.

All lessons and guided practice materials are available for you to access anytime. This makes it possible to progress steadily, revisit sections as needed, and integrate the practice into your daily life according to your own rhythm.

This self-paced format is intentionally chosen to support consistent, long-term practice, rather than rushing through the material.

Yes. All students enrolled in paid training programs have access to a private community.

Within this space, you can ask questions, share your practice progress, and learn together with fellow students who are working through the same training. The community is intended as a focused environment for practice-related discussion and integration.

For questions that are commonly shared across many students, selected topics will be gradually addressed and added to the Q&A section of the course, so that everyone can benefit from the clarification over time.

A Foundation, Not a Sect

The Long Breath Method can serve as a serious entry point into Daoist cultivation, but it is not something that asks you to abandon everything else.

It is a foundation that may support: your cultivation path, daily life, physical condition, energetic stability, ability to observe and regulate yourself more clearly over time.

This is not a technique you simply “finish learning.”
It is a path that can continue unfolding through long-term practice.

“I have studied from Master Xuanchu for several years. He is highly accomplished in the realm of Daoist cultivation, and is able to convey the esoteric knowledge of Daoist cultivation in an accessible and comprehensible way. Throughout my practice, he has offered detailed guidance at each stage. Over time, I have experienced marked improvements in my physical well-being, with enhanced circulation of qi and blood and a notable increase in vitality. On a spiritual level, my perception of the world has become increasingly profound, as if I have glimpsed the doorway to a more profound and mystical dimension.”

“Instructor Zhaoning has helped me stabilize my mind through balancing and harmonizing my internal organs—a perfect approach for someone like me, who struggles many years with my monkey mind. Rather than merely calming my mind on a spiritual level, she has helped me ground myself through the practical cultivation of Daoist practices. As my body becomes healthier, my emotional spikes have also started to decrease, creating a mutually reinforcing cycle between the inner nature and vital energy. It’s truly incredible to think that such an extraordinary system has existed for thousands of years already, far ahead of the emergence of modern science.”
